Founded in 1991 with a single-stream nursery and lower primary classes, Thika Road Academy has grown into a dynamic centre of academic excellence and holistic development. By 1995, the school had expanded to Standard 8, presenting its first cohort for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). Over the decades, it has continued to evolve.
Today, the Academy offers a full continuum of learning from Playgroup through Primary and Junior Secondary, with Senior Secondary set to launch in 2026. In line with national reforms, the school has embraced the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), delivering learner-centred education in modern, well-equipped classrooms that foster creativity, critical thinking, and real-world readiness. Set within vast, lush grounds, the serene campus features purpose-built facilities that support academic, artistic, and athletic excellence, creating an inspiring environment where students thrive.
